During his fight against Lady Miyako and her disciples, Tetsuo loses control of his mutation. Kay is also present at the scene of the battle.
The Akira manga color guides were first published by Epic Comics, starting in 1988, for the American edition. The Akira (アキラ) manga was created by mangaka Katsuhiro Otomo (大友 克洋). These color guides were subsequently used for all Western publications.
