Delivery
No, the original drawings and original art sold at La Galerie de la Bande Dessinée are not sold framed. We recommend having artwork framed by a professional framer to ensure better preservation. We can recommend our framer, based in Brussels, with whom we have worked since 2018.
The art is placed in a plastic sleeve or wrapped with silk paper. Then packed between 2 MDF panels. MDF is medium-density fiberboard, a type of engineered wood similar to plywood, but more durable. We always leave a secure distance between the borders of the package and the art itself. We then ship the art exclusively with Fed-Ex.
Because we want your purchase to be taken care of. Fed-Ex offers great service with consistent email updates. The use of an express company is also mandatory for our art insurance.
Once your payment is complete, your art will be shipped within 10 business days. If the art is part of an exhibition, it will be shipped in the next 10 business days following the end of the exhibition. You’ll receive Fedex notifications once your package has been picked up.
Once paid in full, original comic art, Anime art and illustration art can be picked up at the gallery by appointment.
The art will be packaged with care.
