Tetsuo, under the influence of his mutation, attacks Lady Miyako's hideout. The mutant children Kyoko (No. 25) and Masaru (No. 27) are present.
The Akira manga color guides were first published by Epic Comics, starting in 1988, for the American edition. The Akira (アキラ) manga was created by mangaka Katsuhiro Otomo (大友 克洋). These color guides were subsequently used for all Western publications.
