The biker Joker finds himself facing Tetsuo and the colonel. This page is part of an iconic sequence: the attack on the Neo-Tokyo Olympic Stadium, Akira's hideout.
The Akira manga color guides were first published by Epic Comics, starting in 1988, for the American edition. The Akira (アキラ) manga was created by mangaka Katsuhiro Otomo (大友 克洋). These color guides were subsequently used for all Western publications.
Mixed media (gouache, color pencils, …) on a printed copy of Katsuhiro Otomo’s original comic art.
