A group of Akira's loyalists is wiped out by the Colonel's mechanical sentinel, the Caretaker. Kay then intends to use it to safely transport Chiyoko to Lady Miyako.
The Akira manga color guides were first published by Epic Comics, starting in 1988, for the American edition. The Akira (アキラ) manga was created by mangaka Katsuhiro Otomo (大友 克洋). These color guides were subsequently used for all Western publications.
