When Akira's followers kidnap Masaru (No. 27) and Kiyoko (No. 25), Chiyoko and Kay try to rescue them. Chiyoko is an expert in weapons handling. She is an important member of the Neo-Tokyo resistance and Kay's best friend.
The Akira manga color guides were first published by Epic Comics, starting in 1988, for the American edition. The Akira (アキラ) manga was created by mangaka Katsuhiro Otomo (大友 克洋). These color guides were subsequently used for all Western publications.
