Written and drawn by Art Spiegelman in 1970, ten years before he started to publish Maus in Raw magazine.
This 30-page underground comics story was printed in 1971 by Bantam Books, in a paperback format, also featuring art by other underground artists like Kim Deitch, Trina Robbins, Spain Rodriguez and Alan Shenker.
The very expressive line and the burlesque of the situations make it a perfectly representative story of the 70's indie comics.
Original drawings and original artwork by Art Spiegelman are extremely rare on the art market. Such an opportunity to acquire a vintage art work by Art Spiegelman will not present itself again.
