Produced by Toei Animation from 1978 to 1981, based on the Galaxy Express 999 (\u9280\u6cb3\u9244\u9053999, Ginga Tetsud\u014d 999) manga by mangaka Leiji Matsumoto (\u677e\u672c\u96f6\u58eb).<\/p>\n<p>To create the Japanese animation production drawing called douga, the animator traces the main poses of the gengas with a light line, with colors and outlines drawn in black. Different colored pencils are used to make the drawing more legible.
